Cu-bearing Breccia from Copper Creek
The AGS Fall 2025 field trip is scheduled for Sat, 15 November, 2025 at Faraday's Copper Creek property and drill core repository near San Manuel and Mammoth, AZ; approximately 45 miles north of Tucson. The trip comprises two parts: a ½ day reviewing core at the office/core facility in San Manuel; and ½ day in the field looking at outcrops/breccias.
Trip size. The trip will be limited to 22 people to start as only Faraday Copper vehicles will be allowed on site. We are working on options to potentially add a few more participants to the trip. The first 22 people to sign up will be guaranteed a spot; others will be added to a waitlist.

Old Reliable Mine, Copper Creek Mining District
Trip cost. The cost of the trip will be approximately $30 to $40 per person depending on details to be announced later (info will be passed along to participants that register). The final costs will include transportation to/from San Manuel (car pool from Tucson), lunch, snacks, drinks, and guidebook.

Trip plan. Attendees will arrive in San Manuel at 8:00 am (at the Red Hawk Office - 28480 South Veteran Memorial Hwy). There will be a safety orientation and then the group will leave for the field portion of the trip (@ half day). The group will return in the afternoon to San Manuel to review core at the Faraday core facility. Once we have a list of attendees, we’ll set up carpooling options (likely a rendezvous point in north Tucson) to San Manuel.
